Hook
Follow the money tells you who's getting paid. Follow the legend tells you who's paying the price to tell the truth.
Key Numbers
- Independent journalists, researchers, and citizens standing up to power
- Aggregated content from YouTube, X, Rumble, Odysee and other free sources
- Automated impact scoring surfaces their highest-reach work
Context
This site's accountability work paints a bleak picture — cost blowouts, captured regulators, mates-rates contracts. Follow the Legend exists to balance that: a directory of the people already pushing back, in Australia and internationally, who accept real personal cost to inform the public.
The feature pulls recent content automatically from free, non-commercial-API sources so the profile pages stay current without manual curation. Where a platform has no reliable free feed (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), items are added manually through the admin.
Inclusion here is not endorsement. The goal is visibility for independent voices, regardless of their political position, when the work has demonstrable impact.
Takeaway
If the system won't hold itself accountable, the people will. These are some of them.
